About Wholeness Yoga Therapy
The mission of Wholeness Yoga Therapy is to draw upon ancient yogic wisdom and practices to help every person reconnect with their innate sense of wholeness. The phrase “come back” is intentional—it reminds us that, despite life’s challenges, traumas, or difficulties—whether physical, mental, or emotional—we are fundamentally whole, and always have been.
Whether you choose Yoga Therapy or Ashtanga, your journey is a personal exploration. In Ashtanga, there is a strong focus on curiosity, self-empowerment, and adapting the practice to different stages of life, ensuring that yoga serves you—not the other way around.
Wholeness Yoga Therapy takes a whole-person approach, honoring the complexity of each unique human experience. Here, you are never reduced to a label, diagnosis, or a single perspective. Instead, you are seen, respected, and supported as a complete individual.
Meet Iryna Lymar, Founder
Iryna’s yoga journey began in 2015 in India and deepened in California. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and an IAYT-certified yoga therapist. Iryna is also a dedicated long-term practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga and has studied at the Sharath Yoga Center (SYC) in Mysore, India.
Her teaching blends two seemingly opposite energies in yoga: the dynamic, transformative power of Ashtanga and the gentle, adaptable, and nourishing practices of Yoga Therapy. Iryna’s dharma—her sense of purpose—is rooted in serving others through these teachings.
When she’s off the mat, Iryna loves immersing herself in nature, playing with her daughter and dog, and exploring the healing wisdom of Ayurveda.
